Wordpress2.7 Upgrade

Just finished upgrading this blog and Swampy’s Weblog to wordpress 2.7. After all the horror stories I’d heard about problems, things went off without a hitch or a hiccup. The only thing that went even remotely wrong is that I failed to back up the PHP function that rotated the picture at the top of the page depending on when you accessed the blog. Most readers didn’t even know that existed, probably.

One very cool result of this upgrade is that I can now use the photo album plugin to show photos. There are two pages available from the sidebar now. One contains scenery shots, the other has the chainsaw carvings from Chetwynd in it. It’s actually a very nice little plugin once you get the correct version of wordpress installed.
